⭐️Myra & Kekova Tour in the Heart of the Mediterranean | Guided Ancient City and Boat Adventure⭐️
✨️Are you ready to explore history, nature, and stunning sea views all in one trip
On this tour, you will follow the traces of the ancient Lycian civilization, discover the sunken city, and visit the land where Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) lived. Kekova Island, famous for its underwater ancient ruins, the fascinating rock tombs of Myra Ancient City, and the mystical atmosphere of Saint Nicholas Church, invites you on an unforgettable journey
KEKOVA ISLAND & THE SUNKEN CITY
Kekova has been home to Lycian, Roman, and Byzantine civilizations since the 4th century BC. The ancient city of Dolchiste was submerged after a major earthquake in the 2nd century AD, and today it is known as the "Sunken City."
As this area is a protected archaeological site, swimming is prohibited. However, our glass-bottom boat allows you to observe the ancient ruins beneath the sea and capture breathtaking photos while gliding over the waters.
SAINT NICHOLAS CHURCH (SANTA CLAUS CHURCH)
Our next stop is Saint Nicholas Church in Demre. Saint Nicholas, who lived in Myra in the 4th century and was famous for his generosity, is known worldwide today as Santa Claus. Built in 520 AD in his honor, this church now serves as the Santa Claus Museum.
During this visit, you can:
*See historical frescoes and unique Byzantine architectural details.
*Visit the section where Saint Nicholas' tomb is located.
*Explore the restored areas of the church and take a step back in time.
MYRA ANCIENT CITY
Located in Demre, Myra Ancient City is one of the most important settlements of the Lycian civilization. Dating back to the 5th century BC, it offers visitors a fascinating journey into the ancient world.
Here, you will see two main attractions:
*The largest ancient theater in Lycia – A Roman-style theater with a 10,000-person capacity.
*Rock-Cut Tombs – Stunning burial chambers carved into the cliffs by the Lycians to honor their dead.
